The Millennium Falcon ride has been named ‘Smugglers Run’ and will force guests to work together to operate the Millennium Falcon as they try to fly through a barrage of scenario’s. The name of the ride suggests that this trip might not be so stealthy after all. Guests are sure to come upon a battle they have to navigate themselves through.
The second ride in the new Star Wars land will be called ‘Rise of the Resistance’. It will take place inside a huge Empire star ship and will feature massive AT AT walkers.
You can bet these ride names were given extensive testing with audiences to make sure that their newest and most expensive addition in many years will be successful. The first Star Wars land at Disneyland in Anaheim opens in mid 2019 with the Orlando version opening a few months after.
