The Walt Disney World Railroad at the Magic Kingdom will close on December 3rd for Tron Construction. Construction is expected to continue on until late 2019.
The construction of the Tron ride will include many changes to the back area next to Space Mountain. A new walkway will have to be added either above or below the train track. With other major construction including the lifting of heavy steal beams, it’s much safer to close the train until most construction on the exterior is wrapped
