Early Ride Time Explained at Dollywood

The 37th Season of Dollywood officially begins on Saturday March 12! We are SUPER excited for what this new season is going to bring. Between new festival additions, golden hours/events, and new changes around the park there is just SO much to look forward to!

Recently, Dollywood has shared some new information about Saturday early access for SELECT guests. And by select guest we mean those with either a GOLD or DIAMOND season pass and lodging guests.

Wait. What exactly does this mean?

Saturday Early Ride Time or ETR for short will allow eligible guests to enter the park every Saturday ONE HOUR prior to the parks official opening time. This allows guests to enjoy a certain attraction or area of the park for that time limit.

Now it’s important to understand a few things about those eligible guests.

FIRST is that each passholder ages 4 years and older must have a GOLD or DIAMOND pass or be a lodging guest to be allowed in during ERT. SECOND children younger than 4 OR those with the Pre-K Imagination Pass will be allowed to enter with an adult Gold or Diamond Passholder.

ERT is offered along with new 2022 Golden Hours (which allows Gold and Diamond passholders to utilize the skip the line service for the first opening hour of the park each day). So passholders can enter the park each Saturday ONE hour early to enjoy a select attraction by entering the standby queue line AND THEN start using the Time Saver entrance for any attraction during the first hour of the park’s operation by showing their Gold or Diamond season pass!

This will be an AMAZING way for guests who visit on busy Saturdays to complete all their MUST DO attractions while in the park! WE are so excited that Dollywood is increasing benefits for passholders and making the attraction planning process a little bit easier for those passholders who are not local.

Please note that Dollywood blog has revealed the new ERT schedule but notes that the Saturday dates during the Smoky Mountain Christmas Festival are still being determined. The current schedule is as followed:
